Who

Julie Nichols has practiced as an arbitrator and mediator of workplace disputes since 2010. She has welcomed the opportunity to work with a variety of parties in the provincial and federal jurisdictions and in a range of sectors and industries. In particular, she enjoys dealing with the unique dynamics of the workplace and finding effective, practical, and final resolutions for the parties to a dispute.

She is a member of the Arbitrators Association of BC and is listed on the Register of Arbitrators of the Collective Agreement Arbitration Bureau.

Before establishing her neutral practice, Julie worked as legal counsel with a focus on labour, employment, and human rights matters.

Prior to that, her roots in a small resource-based town in BC provided her with real life experience that underscored the importance of effective labour relations and dispute resolution.
