\"\"<\/a>Julie Nichols is an arbitrator, mediator and lawyer.<\/p>\n

She is a member of the Arbitrators Association of BC and is listed on the Register of Arbitrators of the Collective Agreement Arbitration Bureau.\u00a0 She assists parties in both unionized and non-unionized environments to resolve workplace disputes and mediates human rights matters.<\/p>\n

Julie began practicing law in B.C. in 1998.\u00a0 After completing a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria, she practiced for a number of years with two large national law firms.\u00a0 Her practice included a wide variety of labour, employment, and human rights matters, with a particular focus on unionized workplaces. She has focused on neutral dispute resolution in the workplace since 2010.<\/p>\n

With roots in a small B.C. town which was dominated by the pulp and paper\/forestry industries, Julie had the opportunity to experience first hand the importance of effective labour relations and dispute resolution alternatives. She enjoys the challenge of dealing with the unique dynamics that arise in the workplace and finding effective, practical, and final resolutions for all parties to a dispute.<\/p>\n

Julie lives in Vancouver, B.C. and is actively involved in Kidsport\u2122 BC \u2013 an organization which promotes the development of kids\u2019 healthy lifestyles through access to sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
